Fire water system according to DIN 14230

The equipment of the fire water tank can be designed very individually and thus customer- or project-related. The fire water systems from INTEWA according to DIN 14230 consists of the following components:

System with GRP storage

  1. GRP storage
  2. Stainless steel ventilation piping with hood and fly screen
  3. Pipework extraction made of stainless steel
  4. Cover D400 made of galvanized steel
  5. Access dome
  6. Access ladder
  7. Anti-vortex plate
  8. Pump sump

System with DRAINMAX tunnel

The tunnels can be quickly installed in any size and are approved by the German Institute for Construction Technology (DIBt) for SLW60 heavy-duty class (60 t truck). Due to the stackability of the tunnels, transport and storage costs as well as delivery times are very low. This system is also interesting if there is no accessibility for the large GRP tanks to the construction site. All tunnel rows are connected to the central shaft via connecting pipes. Thus, they can be inspected and cleaned according to DIN 14230. The central connection shaft has a pump sump and the connection option for fire water extraction in accordance with the standard.

  1. DRAINMAX tunnel
  2. Foil or fleece
  3. Ventilation
  4. Tunnel backfilling
  5. Foil jacket
