DRAINMAX Fire Water storage System

The DRAINMAX tunnel fire water systems are an innovative solution for fire water storage and offer an extremely good price-performance ratio. They are designed in accordance with DIN 14230 and thus also meet the highest safety standards for fire water storage. They are available in standard sizes up to 100 m³ or combinations.

  • Excellent value for money. Low purchase, transport, installation, and operating costs
  • High safety in accordance with standards: Compliant with DIN 14230, use of tested DRAINMAX tunnel
  • Flexible volume sizes – standard sizes up to 100 m³ or combinable for larger storage solutions
  • Quick and easy installation thanks to a well-designed, modular system
  • 100% watertight. Factory-welded EPDM membrane – no gluing on site
  • Reduced logistics and storage costs thanks to stackable tunnel modules
  • Ideal for confined installation situations – can also be used where large tanks cannot be transported
  • Convenient maintenance: Separate shafts enable inspection and cleaning in accordance with DIN 14230
  • Maximum film protection with special fleece (bottom) and high-pressure washable fabric (top)
  • Smart monitoring with I-CONNECT: Digital monitoring of fill level, discharge, and malfunctions in real time

They are constructed using DRAINMAX tunnels approved by the German Institute for Building Technology (DIBt) for 60-ton trucks. Installation is quick and easy. The tunnels are installed in a basin sealed with a high-strength EPDM membrane. Our finished packages are delivered from the factory in one piece. This eliminates the need for gluing or welding on site. This guarantees absolute watertightness. The membrane is also protected by a special fleece underneath and a high-pressure washable fabric above. The storage volume is determined by the storage space of the large-volume tunnels and the pore volume of the fill material, usually gravel. This system is particularly cost-effective in transport, procurement, installation, and operation. The stackability of the tunnels means very low transport and storage costs as well as delivery times. The system can also be installed in locations inaccessible for the delivery of large tanks. All tunnel rows are equipped with separate shafts. This allows them to be inspected and cleaned in accordance with DIN 14230. The central connection shaft features a pump sump and standard fire water extraction. Once I-CONNECT is installed, the system operator receives information about the system's fill level via their browser platform and is immediately notified of any changes via the integrated warning system.
