DRAINMAX water storage tank

The DRAINMAX tunnel water storage tanks are an innovative solution for storing rainwater, surface water, raw water for drinking water treatment or many other water qualities and applications. They are characterised by an extremely good price-performance ratio. They are supplied in standard sizes up to 120 m³ or combinations.

  • Sedimentation, filtration and separation area already integrated in the system
  • Outstanding price-performance ratio. Inexpensive to purchase, transport, install and operate
  • Highest load capacity with 60 tonnes and DIBt-certified tunnel elements
  • Flexible volume sizes, standard sizes up to 120 m³ or combinable for larger storage solutions
  • Quick and easy installation - sophisticated, modular system
  • 100% watertight, factory-welded EPDM foil - no gluing on site
  • Reduced logistics and storage costs thanks to stackable tunnel modules
  • Ideal for confined installation situations - can also be used where large tanks cannot be transported
  • Convenient maintenance via integrated maintenance shaft
  • Maximum film protection with special fleece (bottom) and high-pressure flushable fabric (top)
  • Smart monitoring with I-CONNECT - digital monitoring of fill level, discharge & faults in real time

Water storage system

In our tunnel water storage tanks, the contaminated water is first channelled into the sedimentation, filtration and separation area integrated into the system. This is where the dirt is retained. They are constructed using the DRAINMAX tunnels approved by the German Institute for Building Technology (DIBt) for (60 t lorries). Installation is quick and easy. The tunnels are installed in a basin, which is sealed with a high-strength EPDM film. In our ready-made packages, these sheets are supplied in one piece ex works. This eliminates the need for gluing or welding on site. This guarantees absolute watertightness. The film is also protected from below by a special fleece and from above by a high-pressure flushable fabric. The storage volume results from the storage space of the large-volume tunnels and the pore volume of the filling material, usually gravel. This system is particularly cost-efficient in terms of transport, purchase, installation and operation. Due to the stackability of the tunnels, transport and storage costs as well as delivery times are very low. The system can also be installed in places that are not accessible for the delivery of large tanks. If I-CONNECT is installed, the operator of the system receives information about the fill level of the system via his browser platform and is immediately informed of any changes via the integrated warning system.

Storage tank for extinguishing water supply

The DRAINMAX tunnel is another inexpensive option for storing extinguishing water. By laying the system in a foil jacket, almost any system size can be realised with a very flat structure. This saves civil engineering costs. This special film is an absolutely watertight, high-strength, elastic EPDM film without any connecting seams made from a single piece.
