The best solution for heavy rain events

In general, heavy precipitation is referred to as precipitation that occurs rarely and has a destructive effect (e.g. flooding).

Heavy rainfall can lead to rapidly rising and falling flood waters or inundations. Soil erosion can be associated with this as well.

Let us assume you own a 500 m² plot of land. If a heavy rainfall event occurs now, about 6,000 liters of rain fall here in a period of 30 minutes. This is more than most soils can absorb and - if it should affect an entire city district - more than the city sewage system can absorb. If not properly provided for, flooding can easily occur in the basement.
Of course, the topography and the size of the sealed surface play an important role, but in spite of everything, this risk can be easily counteracted with a DRAINMAX tunnel trigol system. If we return to the example calculation, the 500 m² site could easily be protected against flooding with only 4 tunnel elements. With a storage volume of 1.6 m³ of water each element, the DRAINMAX tunnel with its lightweight construction offers an ideal solution for prevention for a wide range of substrates.
