Truck load capacity and DIBt® approval
DRAINMAX tunnels were the first tunnel technology ever to receive building approval from the German Institute for Building Technology. The long-term load-bearing capacity of the DRAINMAX system has been proven for an operating life of at least 50 years. This benefits planners, builders, fabricators and dealers alike.
The geometry of the tunnel has been used in numerous structures since ancient times. INTEWA also utilises the advantages of tunnel geometry to meet the highest stability requirements.
To achieve this, in addition to numerous installation tests in practice, extensive quality and stress tests were carried out at the Society for Materials Research and Testing Institute for Civil Engineering. These tests examine and monitor not only the material quality and short-term strength, but also the long-term strength of the component. The DIBt approval for DRAINMAX Tunnel 60 means maximum safety and quality assurance for dealers, planners, construction companies and operators.
