Description
The supermarket chain K+K has set itself the goal of establishing its stores close to the customer, i.e. easily accessible, especially in smaller towns. To this end, a new branch was also built in Schüttorf in Lower Saxony, Germany, in 2019.
The special conditions on the site to be developed require an equally specially adapted solution in the area of fire water supply. A GRP tank according to DIN 14230 with a capacity of 100 m³ is used. Due to the mean highest groundwater level of 0.6 m below the lower edge of the site, this tank was equipped with a buoyancy protection.
The many years of experience in implementing a cost-effective and reliable system under the most difficult installation conditions was the decisive factor in choosing INTEWA for a fire water supply system.
