Independence through rain- & grey water
Project
Greywater treatment in Opawa / New Zealand / 2015
Application
Greywater recycling, Rainwater harvesting
Products
AQUALOOP, PURAIN
Description
The grey water in this house comes from the drain of the showers and hand basins, is treated in the AQUALOOP system and then reused for flushing the toilet and washing clothes. Rainwater harvesting from the roof is used for direct utilization and ensures the independence of this building for the future. With the AQUALOOP grey water system, between 30 and 40% of valuable water is saved, thus conserving the rainwater reserves in the tank during longer periods of drought.
