Description
In 1946 the British Army blew up the entrance to a tunnel near the monument. The foundations were damaged in the process. In 2013, the Landschaftsverband Westfalen-Lippe (LWL), as the owner of the monument, decided to carry out a renovation and at the same time to build a restaurant and an information centre. In order to guarantee the supply of fire-fighting water for the newly created infrastructure, a 100 m³ GRP extinguishing water tank solution from INTEWA was chosen.
