Description

On the former site of the Delfa shoe stretching factory at Bickenbach railway station, 69 residential units for young families have been created in the "Hartauer Feld" residential park. The rainwater infiltration was part of the permit. The rainwater runoff from the roof areas is percolated decentrally into the sandy subsoil via seven flushable DRAINMAX tunnel systems. Pre-treatment takes place via sedimentation and filter shafts, which meet the specifications of the Darmstadt-Dieburg district for a required passage value of D = 0.8 in accordance with DWA-M-153. A flushing and control shaft is installed downstream. In six construction phases, a total of 67 DRAINMAX central tunnel elements in installation variant II with a surrounding ballast bed of 16/32 grain size with a total storage volume of over 155 m³ are being used.
