Stream water supplies single family house

[Translate to English:]

Project

Potable water from stream water in a family home in the Eifel / Germany / February 2017

Application

Surface water treatment

Products

AQUALOOP, RAINMASTER

Description

A solution for this installation was needed where flowing brook water near the house could be treated and used for the daily needs of the home. No connection was available for the municipal drinking water supply. To check the general quality of the water compared to the drinking water ordinance, a sample analysis of the brook water was carried out.
The sample results showed that the brook water contained no dissolved chemical substances that exceeded the maximum limits stated in the analysis. The system could therefore proceed without hindrance. The AQUALOOP membrane station would be postioned in the 10.000 litre tank. The filtered brook water is pumped to a connected clear water tank in the house.
Finally, the RAINMASTER Favorit with speed controlled suction pump supplies the clear water through the INTEWA UV system to the individual fixtures, such as showers, hand wash basins, toilets and outdoor taps.
Once the system was up and running, a new sample analysis according to the drinking water ordinance was carried out.
Based on the flawless sample results, the local health authority allowed the installed system to function as designed.
