Description

For their newly acquired horse farm, the owners have installed a SEPAMAT E10 for drinking water system separation. This not only complies with the drinking water regulation DIN EN 1717 to prevent recontamination, but is also the ideal device for use with horses. In contrast to cow waterers, for example, horses only require a smaller volume per minute.

Written by the owner

"After acquiring our horse farm, my husband and I first renovated the stables and, in the process, also renewed the entire water supply system, including the indoor and outdoor self-drinkers. As an architect, I am familiar with the Drinking Water Ordinance and thus aware that the water connection owner is obliged to prevent back contamination of the drinking water network by installing a suitable safety device.

In our case this meant: Animal drinker => category 5 => free run!

In our search for a suitable device for system separation, we came across the Intewa separation station SMT-E10 with DVGW approval and ultimately decided in favor of it, as it offered the best price-performance ratio for our application."
