Description
EnBW builds and operates wind power plants and has set itself the goal of expanding its wind portfolio to a total of 1000 megawatts of installed capacity in Germany by 2020. In the onshore sector, around 140 turbines with a total installed capacity of 270 megawatts are already in operation today. A wind farm with a total of 11 to 13 turbines is being built in the Brüchlinger Wald near Langenburg. The wind farm will thus have a maximum total output of 42.9 MW. Three INTEWA GRP fire-fighting water tanks, each with a capacity of 50 m³, were selected to ensure the fire-fighting water supply for the wind farm.
