Garden irrigation with rainwater

With our components and complete systems, we offer you unique solutions for garden irrigation that pay off. Use rainwater instead of drinking water for watering your crops and ornamental plants. For systems up to about 6 m³, our stackable two-shell plastic reservoirs are particularly suitable. For larger systems, we recommend our one-piece plastic or concrete cisterns.

Two-part plastic tank - the core of your garden rainwater system

It can be easily interposed in an existing rainwater pipe, because the filter has no height offset between inlet and outlet. It even fits through doors when the garden is behind the house. It is therefore ideal for retrofitting. You'll save on drinking water and sewage fees when watering your garden, and your plants will love the soft rainwater. A subsequent stormwater infiltration with the same tank elements is also ideal.

This is how the use of rainwater pays off

For a typical single-family home with a roof area of 100 m³, you can collect up to 80 m³ per year in Germany. Assuming that you only collect 20 m³ and use it for watering your garden, you will save an impressive 100.00 €/year with drinking and waste water costs averaging 5.00 €/m³. With investment costs of approx. 500.00 €, your system will have paid for itself after only 5 years.

Examples of systems for garden irrigation

The basic package for garden irrigation includes the ET2000-2, a 2,000 liter, two-shell underground storage tank with the associated material for secure sealing and simple cover caps. The PLURAFIT basic element serves as the dome shaft, which can be extended as required with the PLURAFIT shaft extensions and thus adapted to the upper edge of the terrain. For easy alignment with the connecting pipes, the manhole can be rotated before bonding. The tank openings that are not required are glued with the cover caps supplied. There is no height offset between the inlet and overflow, so the tank can be easily installed in existing drainage lines.
