Connected roof area | 1.170 m², Expiration coefficient c = 0,5 |
Description
The newly erected building, covering an area of around 3,600m², offers technology-oriented, young companies rooms, service, advice and networks. The planned uses are office and training rooms as well as the 600m² workshop for the installation of test facilities. The building meets the quality standard KfW 55 Passive House. The TGZ provides a home for young start-ups and, thanks to its close ties to the university, offers the opportunity for intensive knowledge transfer.
A particular highlight is the INTEWA rainwater system with AQUALOOP disinfection for adiabatic evaporation cooling. Compared to conventional cooling systems, energy savings of up to 80% are achieved. The use of a reverse osmosis system is no longer necessary as the rainwater is particularly low in lime.
Total project sum: 11.825 million EUR
System components:
- 2 AQUALOOP membranes for rainwater disinfection
- Rainwater storage tank with usable volume 25.7 m³,
- Pre-filtering by PURAIN 200 rainwater filter
- RWZ-14-60-P for WC, urinals and for irrigating green areas
- Submersible motor pump Multi-04 for supplying adiabatic cooling
