A village in the Heinsberg district of North Rhine-Westphalia in the far west of Germany right on the Dutch border. The historic Birgden railway station is the middle station of the historic museum railway Selfkantbahn. The family collects a lot of rainwater in their new building for toilet, washing machine and garden irrigation.
