Expert panel selects Aachen network for wastewater reuse

The Aachen network of entrepreneurs and researchers has now been selected from 53 outlines on various topics to develop innovative solutions for wastewater reuse.
AIX-Net-WWR, the "Aachen Network for Waste Water Reuse", is the name of the network that aims to "give wastewater a new lease of life" - not just once, but again and again. After submission of the final applications, the start is currently planned for June 2023.

New greywater recycling systems for school in Poland
The newly built Special School for Children in Lipno takes a special approach to caring for and supporting the next generation. What could be more obvious than to start directly with the school's own building and save valuable water? A system with a daily treatment volume of 600 liters was installed here to meet demand.

The type of water requirement shows which form of water management can be used. In the guest house of the Schleswig-Holstein Medical Association, for example, the daily demand is covered by a 1,800 liter greywater recycling system.
