AQUALOOP drinking water generation system with rainwater from the roof from AL-DW9600
The so-called "roof run-off water" is first pre-filtered using a PURAIN pre-filter before it enters the cistern (usually an external cistern).
The cistern contains a submersible motor pump that pumps the pre-filtered rainwater into the AQUALOOP membrane storage tank (1). If dirt accumulates here, it can be removed with a submersible motor pump (5). The water is sanitized via the AQUALOOP ultrafiltration membrane station (2) and pumped into the clear water storage tank. The membrane station can be serviced via the access dome (3). The membrane station can be cleaned automatically or as required using the automatic chemical cleaning system (7). Further cleaning of the membrane station can be carried out using the integrated blower (8). The I-CONNECT system (4) is used for remote control and monitoring.
The treated water is pumped from this clear water storage tank to the consumers via a pump and control center and an additional UV unit for redundant disinfection. If there is not enough rainwater available, an integrated, DVGW-certified make-up feed with drinking water takes place.
AQUALOOP drinking water production systems
The sets with the AQUALOOP direct filtration unit include almost all components, except the tank and pipes, for creating a water treatment system for rainwater to produce drinking water for single-family and multi-family homes with a treatment volume of up to approx. 1000 liters of water required per day.
The AL-DW system is a system example with AL-direct filtration unit in parallel connection. The system components are professionally installed by the installer.

Questions and answers
The operator is responsible for maintaining and checking the water quality and servicing the system. Cross-connections to the public water system are not permitted. The water may only be used for the operator's own consumption without any further approvals.
Depending on the system, installation location and intended use, a specific plan for checking and ensuring the water quality must be drawn up and a risk assessment carried out. Further information can be found in the operating instructions.
